What Are inLife Electronic cigarettes?

Millions of people smoke cigarettes everyday. Some would like to quit, while others just enjoy the nicotine hit. Millions of dollars are spent by those people who want to stop smoking. Some buy nicotine patches, some quit cold turkey, while others try hypnosis.

The latest trend in smoking today is electronic cigarettes. They are cylindrical devices which some look like cigarettes, complete with glowing red tips, but since they only contain nicotine, many say that they are a safer substitute to actually smoking a “normal” cigarette.

Traditional cigarettes as we all know contain nicotine, tar and tobacco. Tobacco is the leading cause of lung cancer. Smoking cigarettes has become one of the leading risk factors in causing heart attacks, emphysema and certain pulmonary diseases. Cigarettes also contain around 599 different additives, most of them toxic and carcinogenic.

Electronic cigarettes or Ecigarettes as they are called, contain only nicotine and propylene glycol. The substances are vaporized when the user takes a drag on the cylindrical device. So instead of puffing out smoke, the user puffs out steam. This steam is said to be harmless to other people, as the nicotine contained has already been absorbed in the user’s lungs. Users say the nicotine hit is instantaneous and feels just like smoking the real thing. The ecigarette also bypasses smoking bans in cities since there is no smoke produced.

Even though the ecigarette is not an approved medium for nicotine replacement therapy, some experts say that they are a “logical alternative” to cigarettes.
